Someone broke into a home at Overross Close, Ross-on-Wye, by prising open a panel in the lower half of a door. This enabled them to reach inside and unlock the door, as a key had been left in the lock. Cash and jewellery was then stolen from the bedrooms.

The internal garage door was unbolted and left open, although nothing was taken from the garage.

It is not known precisely when the burglary took place, although local police officers estimate that it was some time between 6am on Monday, August 8th and 4.15pm on Monday, August 15th.
