Local police officers are investigating a number of crimes which took place in the Ross-on-Wye area, during the past few days. They ask that if any local residents have any further information about any of the following incidents, they call 101, and give the reference number provided.

Scrap metal stolen

At Ross-on-Wye Household Waste, someone entered the site on August 11th, through a gap in the fence, and a number of ‘scrap metal’ items were taken from the skips. Please contact the police, by calling 101, if you have any further information about this. The incident reference number is:?318-S-110816.

Vehicle keyed

A vehicle, which had been parked overnight outside a home in Lea between August 10th and 11th, was damaged. Someone ‘keyed’ the side panel of the car. If you have any further information about this incident, please call the police on 101. The reference is:?350-S-110816.

Sat Nav stolen

A Garmin Sat Nav was stolen from a vehicle parked on a drive in Ashfield Crescent, Ross-on-Wye. This happened between 3pm on August 8th and 9.15am on August 9th.

The vehicle had been left unlocked and when the owners discovered the theft, the ashtray and glove box had been left open and the Sat Nav was missing from under seat.
