Fire crews have been working this afternoon to extinguish a fire in a former hotel, which had been closed for many years, in the centre of Ross-on-Wye.
A small fire was discovered inside the Rosswyn hotel, on High Street. A small amount of rubbish was found to be alight, and fire crews extinguished the fire.
Fire crews are still currently on the scene, as are police officers.
Fire engines are parked at the junction where High Street and Gloucester Road meet, and a road closure remains in place from High Street towards Walford Road.UPDATE: High Street has now been re-opened and while traffic is heavy, it is moving steadily.
