Ross-on-Wye fire crew have extinguished a small fire on a bus in Ross, at the junction between Gloucester Road and Smallbrook Road.

No passengers had been on board, and the driver was not injured.

Police on the scene confirmed that it was the result of an electrical fault. The bus will be stuck for the moment, as the battery has had to be removed.

As the fire crews have now left the scene, and oncoming traffic can clearly see the bus on the side of the road, it is no longer seen as a hazard and the police are no longer diverting traffic.
