Ross-on-Wye Fire Station is looking for new on-call fire fighters, these are everday people who are ready to respond to emergencies at any time of the day or night. On-call Firefighters must be able to reach the fire station within five minutes.

You have to be able to committ to regular training which takes place on Tuesday evenings and can expect two evening call outs and three daytime call-outs a week, each of which lasts about an hour.

Earning will vary depending on how many call outs you attend but the average earning is £9,700 for the past 12 months, paid monthly.
