Four people appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Monday, September 26th, in connection with five distraction thefts in Ross-on-Wye, Malvern, and Worcester.
The four were arrested on Friday, September 23rd by officers from the Central Motorway Policing Group (CMPG).
Elvis Marian Farcas (26) of Wolverhampton; Ionel Constantin (44) of Leicester; Fiorina Constantin (50) of no fixed abode; and Cristina Toma (34) of Dudley were all charged with conspiring to steal and committing fraud by false representation.
Toma was also charged with handling stolen goods.
They have been remanded in custody and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, October 24th.
