Alex Denby, 27, of Churcham, Gloucester pleaded guilty at Hereford Magistrates Court on July 28th to driving a vehicle while over the limit for alcohol.

Denby was driving a VW Golf on the A449 at Ross-on-Wye.

He was fined £250, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, and to pay costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months, which can be reduced by three months if by February 28th, 2017 the defendant satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
