Two recent, separate incidents in Ross-on-Wye saw a total of more than £10,000 worth of goods stolen from vehicles.

In one incident, which took place on the Alton Road Industrial Estate, between 4pm on Friday, October 30th, and 8am on Monday, November 2nd, an item worth £7,500 was stolen from a vehicle.

This stolen item was a crane. The crane was located on the back of a vehicle, which had been locked in a compound over the weekend.

The offenders cut through fencing, in order to gain access to the compound, where they cut wires and unbolted the crane. There is CCTV at the location.

Another incident, which again saw thousands of pounds worth of goods stolen, occurred between 6pm on Monday, November 2nd, and 8am on Tuesday, November 3rd.

Someone opened the rear doors of a Transit van parked on Brampton Road, and stole items from inside.

These items include a Makita impact gun, drills, and wrenches as well as new batteries for all the items. It is believed this items are valued at approximately £3,000. If you have any information about this, please call 101. The incident reference number is: 0117-S-031115.
