A mobile police and partners contact centre has arrived in Herefordshire, and it will be put to use immediately.
The new vehicle, funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, will be used by local Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) and a wide range of partners including Herefordshire County Council, to visit town centres and villages in rural communities on specific days and times.
It will provide more opportunities for residents to speak directly to officers and other local agencies, and will be equipped with a range of crime prevention advice on a range of topics, particularly rural crime, which is an ongoing priority for both the PCC and the force.
