A pigeon was trapped between two shops on High Street in Ross-on-Wye on July 31st at 8.24pm.
A fire engine and a crew of six from Ross Fire Station used a 9m ladder to rescue the pigeon.
The fire crew left the incident at 9.32pm, leaving the pigeon with a neighbour, to save calling the RSPCA.
