A police helicopter from Birmingham appeared over Ross-on-Wye last night (Sunday, June 17th) and assisted in two police incidents.
The National Police Air Service assisted West Mercia police after reports were received about a motorbike being driven dangerously. A local team from the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) also attended the scene. The driver was located, a downlink was provided and evidence was obtained.[UPDATE] West Mercia Police had initially been called to Ross-on-Wye at approximately 6.20pm yesterday evening (Sunday, July 17th) to reports for concerns of a vulnerable adult who had gone missing within the town. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) was also called upon to assist with the search. He was found safe and well at approx 10am this morning (Monday, July 18th).
