The Ross-on-Wye Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding a property marking event on Friday, May 17th.

It will be held at Screwfix in Ross-on-Wye from 7am.

Pop along with anything from lawnmowers to laptops, tools to bicycles, and they will security mark it for free.

The team, consisting of police officers and volunteers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, have held events like this before and have a great turnout.

Officer Shirley Peters told the Ross Gazette: "These types of procedures are about raising the risk for criminals, and lowering their potential reward. It is key to put as many barriers in place as possible."
