West Mercia Police and the West Midlands Ambulance Service were called at 9.22am this morning (Tuesday, November 1st) to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man near to Penyard Lane, Ross-on-Wye.
[UPDATE] A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service told the Ross Gazette that three ambulances were sent to the scene.
They said: "We were called at 9.24am on Tuesday to Penyard Lane/Lakeside Drive in Ross-on-Wye, near to a wooded area.
"There was one male patient in the wooded area. Whilst attending to the patient he went into cardiac arrest. CPR and advanced life support was commenced, which continued enroute to Hereford County Hospital."
