The police have issued warnings about overnight thefts from vans in Ross-on-Wye.

On November 1st, a Renault traffic van on Wall House Road was broken into overnight on.

The property stolen included a quantity of work tools, but there are currently no known suspects. Enquiries are continuing using local CCTV opportunities.

On the night of November 14th, a resident reported another theft from a van in Edde Cross Street.

A police spokesperson said: "Please take care to remove tools from vehicles overnight wherever possible and take note of crime prevention advice.

"We are also asking members of the public to get in touch if they are offered goods or tools in suspicious circumstances."
