A road traffic collision took place on the A40 Westbound, in between Whitchurch and Monmouth at 10.34am, on Saturday, November 14th.

One appliance from Whitchurch Fire Station and one appliance form Monmouth Fire Station attended the scene.

One casualty was self-extricated prior to the arrival of firefighters and was conveyed to hospital by ambulance. One dog was also rescued from the vehicle. The incident was left with the Highways Agency.
