The Herefordshire Country Fair, held on Sunday, August 7th at Castle Meadow, Caradoc, is now in its 38th year and promises a great family day out.
This year, alongside Camel Racing with some very famous faces taking part, there will be the usual country fair favourites: terrier racing, working gun dogs, inter hunt relay, scurry racing, clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing and a parade of foxhounds.
The Food Hall and the Shopping Marquee offer a great shopping experience, representing the best of Herefordshire and beyond.
There will also be a Motor Village, showcasing the best in new models and the ever popular Classic Car Display.
Entertain the children with Punch and Judy, a Funfair, Go Kart Racing and other displays.
For equestrian lovers there is the working Hunters classes and an action-packed day of top-class BS affiliated senior show jumping, commencing at 9.00am (with entries on the day). The schedule includes a National 1.30m Open Championship Qualifier and Senior Foxhunter First Round 1.20m Open. Steve Williams is the course-designer and will no doubt build some testing tracks to ensure exciting entertainment for the spectators and strong competition for the excellent prize money provided by the generous sponsors.
The organisers look forward to welcoming you.
