MADAM, I would like to comment on the belief that Roger Hanson has in Herefordshire Council. Recently I went to the theatre in Monmouth to see the Lindisfarne story, a show that is travelling around the country at small venues in many small towns, but not Ross.
At 7 o'clock on a Sunday evening I pulled into a council run car park near the theatre to find I could park free of charge at that time of night, also the public toilets were open. I really enjoyed the show, along with over 100 other people.
I has also bought my fuel cheaper on the way to Monmouth. I am now told that on the three Saturdays before Christmas parking will be free all day in the council car parks.
Two small towns, side by side, but so different.
