Ross Tennis Centre Mens 'A' team hosted their second to last match in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Winter Leagues against Manor Park 'A', Malvern last Sunday.
Chris Friend and Craig Cook, playing at first pair, lost both matches 1 - 6, 2 - 6 and in a closer three set match, 2 - 6, 6 - 4, 4 - 6. Tom Shotton and Josh Gilmour also lost both their matches in straight sets, 4 - 6, 3 - 6 and 3 - 6, 2 - 6. This is a disappointing result for Ross as they had won all previous fixtures and were looking to take the overall title. Their last match, cancelled due to snowy weather, is yet to be re-arranged against Worcester 'A'. A win could mean that they might still win the Division One, depending on other results in the League.
The next match for at Ross Tennis Centre is for the Ladies 'A' on Sunday, March 7th, at 10.30 am
