Dear Editor,

We would like publicly thank those residents who took time to come down to the Ross-on-Wye Band Stand on Wye Street each Sunday over the summer months to enjoy the Bands in the Park music.

The series of concerts were arranged by Mr Roy Smith of Berry Hill Silver Band on behalf of Ross Town Council. Each Sunday without fail, despite some rain drops, the Bands in the Park had good audiences. Thank you to Kelsmor Dairy who sold their delicious ice creams each Sunday too.

Bands in the Park has its own Facebook page with lots of photos and some video footage too. The Pandemonium Steel Pans drew a crowd of almost 200 and was very well received. We are lucky to have a Band Stand and have received many positive comments.
