Last Thursday, 1st Bridstow Brownies were lucky to be able to visit the beautiful Ross Community Garden as part of their Environment badge and Conservation challenge.
Claire Lines, Brown Owl said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Tim, the Project Leader for the Community Garden, for giving up his evening to show us around the garden, for telling us all about the garden and the work that is carried out there and for organising a gardening activity for us. It really was the most perfect evening.”
The Ross-on-Wye Community Garden is a social and therapeutic garden set in a three acre site in the town centre. If you would like further information or would like to get involved, please contact Tim Shelley, Project Leader, by email: [email protected]
The Brownies were all able to plant on some borage plants which they were allowed to take home. Tim told the group: “It was absolutely wonderful to have you all with us. Thank you so much.”
