Police closed a road near Ross-on-Wye following a serious road traffic collision at about 5pm on Monday, July 10th.
The B4234 near Walford was closed and officers asked drivers to avoid the area.
A police spokesman said: "The B4234 near Ross-on-Wye closed at Walford while police and ambulance services attend a collision. Plese seek alternative routes where possible."
Update: The West Midlands ambulance service were called at 4.18pm on Monday evening, after a motorcyclist was involved in a single vehicle crash. An off-duty paramedic was at the scene, and the West Midlands Ambulance service were called. A land ambulance was sent, as well as the Air Ambulance from Strensham. Due to the nature of the patient's condition, a second air ambulance was deployed, which had a doctor on board. A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service told the Ross Gazette that the patient was a male, believed to be in his mid-twenties. They added that while the patient had been able to speak to speak to ambulance crews, he did lose consciousness for a brief period. He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, having suffered multiple serious injuries.
