Recent visitors to the Larruperz Centre in Ross may have wondered about the particularly hammy French accents which can be heard around the building! We can now reveal the cause – X-entricity Theatre have been rehearsing for their latest production, 'Allo 'Allo.

Filled with characters from the classic TV series, and written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, the story follows the 'everyday adventures of a French café owner in war-torn France' .

In a knockwurst sausage in his café kitchen is hidden the priceless portrait of the Fallen Madonna, which René and his wife Edith are trying to keep safe from the Germans. Also hidden in the café are two bumbling British airmen, whom the French Resistance, led by Michelle, are trying to return to England - with the reluctant help of René.

And if Edith finds out what René gets up to in the larder with his waitresses, Mimi and Yvette, he might lose more than just his café!

Packed with characters and catchphrases galore, X-entricity is delighted to bring this hilarious romp to Ross.

Performances are at the Larruperz Centre, on Friday, March 5th, Saturday, March 6th, Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the Centre - 01989 565465, and cost just £8 for Adults and £6 for concessions.
