Retired couple Reg and Veronica Ansell have been back in Ross since April and have been continuing their fund raising efforts to help the Bartimaeus Centre for the Blind which they run in Bangalore, India.

Their target of £1,000 before they return in October has already been reached so with still just over two months to go they are hoping for big things.  They say they have been overwhelmed by the generosity of friends and family in donations received and the steady supply of bric-a-brac that keeps their weekly Saturday Charity Stall at the Market House, Heritage Centre, Ross, supplied with a variety of goods.  They also ran a stall at the charities market for Ross-in-Bloom.
