Caroline Hessian delayed her journey back to Somerset so that she could snap up a new year bargain at Ideal Carpets' winter sale. She started queueing with her son at 1pm on Sunday, January 2nd and then queued for twenty hours, in order to buy a large Iranian oriental rug. The rug was reduced to £10 from £800. Caroline bought the carpet for her mum.
