Over the last few years Annabelle Mutlow, who is 12-years-old, has held charity coffee mornings to raise money for Epilepsy Action.
This year on Sunday, April 1st, Annabelle decided to hold a charity coffee and cake morning at her house to raise vital funds for the charity.
Annabelle, who is a student at John Kyrle High School, made all the cakes with the help of her mum and her grandparents arranged a quiz and raffle.
She invited friends and family to help her raise money and this year managed to raise a massive £575.19.
Annabelle said that it is a great cause as there are a lot of adults and children with epilepsy and it’s often not spoken about, as it is not always accepted in society.
She started raising money for Epilepsy Action while she was at Goodrich Primary School and has now raised nearly £1500.00 over the three years she has been doing it.
Epilepsy Action is a community of people committed to a better life for everyone affected by epilepsy. They want high quality, accessible epilepsy healthcare services, so that people with epilepsy have the support they need to manage their condition.
