MADAM, I write in reply to and support of Mrs Dobbs' letter in last week's Gazette, 'Poop then scoop'.
We are experiencing the same problem in our street. Many a day I go along our street and have to manoeuvre past lumps and bumps deposited by dogs. This problem is then continued up into town. I have in the past picked up and disposed of offending articles left outside my own house, to try and ensure a clean pavement and not have it walked into the house.
Mrs Dobbs writes a good letter, and I will be following her example. If I see any offenders not 'scooping', their names and addresses will be passed to environmental health.
