The 'Spirit of Ross' mosaic, on the wall outside the library, has been in need of repair for a little while now. Small fragments of the filler has been crumbling away and recently a segment has been removed due to the damage.

Members of the Ross Library Development Group have been attempting to find someone with the skills to repair the damaged section, but have so far not found anyone.

Elinor Kelly, from the Development Group, told the Ross Gazette: "It's been immensely frustrating for us. People were getting angry at us because it looked as if nothing was going on, but we were working hard behind the scenes to find someone with the right skills to repair the Mosaic."
