Dear Editor,
Les Williams, in his letter to the Gazette which was published on August 9th, made some interesting observations about disabled life in Ross.
I too am disappointed by the lack of disabled toilet access in the town. I am a wheelchair user and require appropriately placed grab rails and a cubicle wide enough to allow my chair to be sited alongside the toilet.
At least three restaurants in the town centre do not have these basic facilities, yet they still have the disabled logo on the door. Who allowed this?
Being disabled is difficult enough. Now it seems I have to struggle to enjoy an evening out close to home.
