THE annual Bailey Lane End Fete received great support from the local community, who turned out in force to supply, support and participate on stalls and events.
The event, formally opened by the Rev Vernon Godden and his wife Maureen, who are much respected friends and regular visitors to the Church at Bailey, also enjoyed support from new and old friends from the surrounding Forest of Dean and Ross-on-Wye areas.
The Church featured a display of art and crafts alongside VE Day items and memorabilia.
The games and stalls ensured a great time was had by all, the children’s races being particularly popular.
The event raised £1,198.00 which will go towards the internal refurbishment in the Church schoolroom.
