I would like to thank those who have supported The Bands in the Park each Sunday so far

It is so lovely to see the crowd numbers increasing at Wye Street despite the heat increasing too. These free concerts continue until the end of August so please join us.

On Sunday, July 22nd at 1pm till 8.30pm the Ross Proms is taking place, featuring the Metz Big Band, two outstanding choirs and the amazing Ebbw Valley Brass Band with Proms finale.

There will be hot and cold drinks and food on sale, including Mexican and Japanese, cakes and ice cream. Entry is free. The Town Council pay for the musicians to come but everything else takes time and energy by volunteers to arrange. If anyone can help please call 01989 762164 as some more stewards for set up would be appreciated.

The Ross Horizon Centre will be the collecting charity and have kindly been donated cakes by the WI to sell. It would be lovely to see if we can put on a show as good as the Albert Hall.

Parking on the grass is reserved for band and choir members only so the public needs to park on roads legally or in car parks. Please check out @bandsintheparkross on Facebook for more details.
