OllieFest, the biggest music festival for all ages in Ross-on-Wye, returns for the Bank Holiday weekend and offers three days of entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Starting at 6pm on Friday, August 23rd and finishing with a grand firework display at 10.45pm on Sunday, August 25th, there really should be something for everyone.

From a must-see performance based on the Greatest Showman and featuring all the hits from the movie to tribute acts ranging from Queen to the Spice Girls. The headline act on the Ollie Stage on Friday is Abba’s Angels, on the Big Top Stage DJs will put together a soundtrack for an awesome night and, on the Vegas Stage, Green Haze are the ultimate tribute to Green Days. After this awesome night, Saturday and Sunday are crammed with acts to suit all tastes.

OllieFest was first held in 2015 in response to the tragic loss of a 20-year-old member of Ross Rugby Club, Ollie Floyd. The organisers wanted the event to be a chance for people in the town to come together, have a good time and remember their lost friend.

In a very short space of time they put together a free community event featuring live, local bands and several well-known headline acts, and a friendly rugby match.

This year there will be two matches, Ross will play the Welsh touring team, Bryncoch on the Saturday at 1pm in a friendly and then the annual memorial match against Drybrook on the Sunday at 1pm, for the Ollie Floyd memorial cup.
