Around 250 people packed into St Mary's church, Ross on Sunday morning as three people were Baptised and thirteen were Confirmed.

In the Church of England most people are baptised as infants and, because they cannot speak for themselves, parents and godparents make promises on their behalf. When they are old enough to make the promises for themselves they undertake a period of study and reflection. Having completed this they are Confirmed by the bishop of the diocese.
