Every year the Association of Ross Traders makes a presentation to someone who has made a significant contribution to the life of Ross-on-Wye.

This has always been made to an individual but this year ART decided to honour the whole of Ross Baptist Church. This was because of their continuing support for the town and particularly in regards to their decision to purchase and renovate the Y Zone building and ensure that a youth group and the Basement Youth Trust had a stable home.

Following the harvest and civic service at St Mary's Church on Sunday, September 23rd the Chairman of ART, Reverend Colin Leggate presented Melvin Reynolds with the John Kyrle Shield.
