Glorious September weather has signalled the beginning of the new academic year at the John Kyrle High School. Over the last year, students have obtained the school's most successful GCSE and A-Level results and a greater number of students than ever before have had the opportunity to experience learning outside of the classroom on school trips and visits, for example to South Africa, Uganda, the battlefields of Northern Europe and an activities trip to North Wales.

Records have already been broken at the beginning of this year. Over 240 youngsters have entered the school in Year 7, whilst more students than ever are deciding to continue their studies at the school's Sixth Form Centre.
