Residents at Brighterkinds Ross Court were recently delighted to welcome pupils from both Walford and Brampton Abbotts Primary Schools for a wildlife workshop, courtesy of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust.
The workshop encouraged residents to share their experiences with the pupils and enabled the pupils to bring youth and enthusiasm to Ross Court, resulting in a very memorable morning.
Later in the week, Sian Thomas and Sue James from Halo Leisure in Ross, joined both residents and their families to help raise awareness of the importance of keeping fit. Sian spoke about the facilities which are available at the leisure centre and of resident Olive Lewis’ regular visits to the swimming sessions.
Sue then gave a seated exercise class for everyone to participate in, demonstrating stretching and posture techniques. Manager, Janet Auty, would like to thank all of their guests from the local community for inspiring everyone at Ross Court.
