A brand new boutique store opened in Ross-on-Wye last week, called Octubre 21st. Selling Spanish-influenced clothing, owners Shahida and Jonathan Davies launched Octubre 21st just three years ago with their very first boutique.

Their latest opening in Ross-on-Wye is their seventh, following the recent opening of their boutique number six, located in the heart of fashionable Palma, Majorca.

The Mayor of Ross-on-Wye, Councillor David Ravenscroft, and the Mayoress, Mrs Doreen Ravenscroft, performed the cutting of the ribbon ceremony at the official opening the boutique, which is located inside Ross Labels.

As he cut the ribbon, the Mayor welcomed Shahida and Jonathan to Ross-on-Wye and wished them every success. “A new shop or business opening generates more local job opportunities which is great news for everyone.” He said.

“We were both so impressed by the impeccable Spanish taste in clothing,” said Shahida Davies. “So much so that we just had to bring it to the UK.”

“The Spanish are just as keen on great quality and affordability as we are here at home so we kept that at the front of our minds when choosing our latest collection of unique clothing and accessories.”
