Organised by the Ross Business Association, the competition encourages egg hunters to explore the high street.
This year’s Competition runs from Saturday, April 9 until Wednesday, April 20. There's still plenty of time to total the egg numbers and return it for marking.
The hunt follows a circular walk around a number of shops, starting at the Market House. Competitors are tasked with finding a flyer in the windows of participating businesses. They then need to write down what they think the number is - although to keep competitors on their toes, some are blank. Once all the numbers have been collected, participants then total them up and return the completed form to Gallery 54, High Street. Participants are instructed not to ask shopkeepers for help, and the winner will be notified by phone. The winning entrant will be the first drawn at random from all correct entries.
The deadline for the competition is 12 noon on Wednesday, April 20. Entry forms can be found at: Made in Ross (Market House), Andrew at Market House, Truffles, RBA Facebook Page.
Winners may be photographed for publicity reasons. Those under the age of 16 must have the permission of a parent or guardian to sign the back of the entry form.
