Established over 25 years ago, Saymor Furnishers have long been the big name for furnishings in Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area.

Gaining expertise from over a decade of managing Debenhams stores throughout the country Nick Say decided, along with his wife Lynn, to branch out and establish their own independent furniture business in 1991.

Since then Saymor has prided themselves on providing a great range of quality products, expert knowledge and good customer service to the local community, an ethos that is still central to the business today.

With stores in both Ross-on-Wye and Stroud, and a knowledgeable team of staff behind them, the company continues to grow from strength to strength. Their three members of staff; Andy, Leigh and Haydn have been working for the company for many years and work both as sales people and delivery drivers, which gives them experience of the whole sales process, resulting in a great personal approach to customer service that keeps the business thriving.

This year is proving particularly memorable for the company for two reasons they are celebrating twenty five years in business and the baton is being passed onto the next generation. Nick and Lynn’s son David is taking over the role of Manager Director from this month and he is excited about leading the business for the next twenty five years. He told the Ross Gazette “I’m looking forward to my new role as MD and taking the company forward with our great team, building on the success achieved by my parents. People are constantly surprised how affordable and competitive we are, and I believe that we are in a very strong position for the future.”
