Madam, I read with interest the comments in Ms Cassons letter in last week's Ross Gazette about Sainsbury's opening a cafe in the Maltings.
We have investigated this previously, but we don't feel that the spot is quite right for a Sainsbury's Cafe. Plus there are already a number of fantastic cafés in the town. Instead, I would like to see a local independent retailer take the vacant spot and add to the character of the Maltings.
