BUDDING artists are being called upon to help design a poster to for The Drama Company Performers’ upcoming show.
Youngsters aged between five and 18 are being encouraged to enter the competition before the theatre group put on their murder mystery play.
The play, set to take place in March 2021, is set in a castle where a mysterious death causes chaos and havoc and needs to be solved.
It will be an interactive experience for the audience and will require their detective pulls to help solve the mystery.
One Legged Will is the castle’s ghost, who never stays still long enough for anyone to capture a photograph of him.
He haunts the castle and keeps the precious jewels safe at the castle and is centuries old.
Youngsters in the area are being asked to draw, sketch, paint or photograph what they think One Legged Will might look like.
Entries should be sent to [email protected] no later than May 15 and must include your name, age and telephone number.
Sarah O’Neil, the group’s leader, and Julie Church, the stage manager, said: “We are currently on lockdown like everyone else, but we wanted the community to have a chance to be part of our exciting new project and adventure. We are hoping lots of people will want to be involved.
“The Drama Company Performers are in need of help from the community and we need to hear from all up and coming artists under the age of 18 who might be able to help us.
“Do you have time on your hands? Are you looking for inspiration and something to fill your imagination? Then we may just have the answer.”
