With the help of the community payback scheme run by the Probation Service, Herefordshire council is currently in the process of clearing up two areas at Greytree, that have been used as camp-sites.

In spite of complaints by residents the police had been unable to clear the area, as it is public land. But since the camps have been voluntarily vacated, work is in progress to clean up the areas and secure them. Read the full report in this week's Gazette.
