VOTERS in Ross West ward have elected Caroline Utting as a Town Councillor.

In a 20% turnout the results on Thursday May 27th were: John Gasston (Independent) 122, Conservative (Margaret Lucas) 303, Caroline Utting (Liberal Democrat) 345.

Chris Bartrum, local Liberal Democrat Councillor, said: "Caroline was an outstanding candidate and will be a great addition to the Town Council team.

"She really has the interests of the town at heart and will I am sure contribute greatly in the months and years ahead."
