To mark the start of Armed Forces week, Herefordshire residents and visitors will be able to watch the raising of the Armed Forces Flag at the Market House, Ross-on-Wye, on Monday, June 25th at 9.45am.

The Ross & District Royal British Legion and members of the Ross Town Council will raise the flag at 10am.

The County Armed Forces Day Parade and Service takes place on Saturday, June 30th.

Armed Forces Day aims to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, and give everyone an opportunity to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community - from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets.
