Staff at Hale & Co, the Forest of Dean’s leading Builders Merchants, raised £205 at a ‘breakfast morning’ in aid of Alopecia UK.

Amy Roberts, event coordinator, is very grateful to everyone who contributed. She said: “As a small charity, Alopecia UK relies on the goodwill of the general public to fundraise and donate to the charity. It is great that we have raised some much needed funds, but also increased the awareness of the condition.”

Alopecia UK is a registered charity working to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. Although not life-threatening, alopecia is life-changing and many with the condition feel isolated and struggle to come to terms with the change in their appearance. Alopecia UK provides information, support and advice to anyone impacted by any type of hair loss.
