MADAM, Thank you for publishing the report on my Captain's Choice Charity Day, at Ross Golf Club, in support of the On Course Foundation (OCF), in last week's Ross Gazette.

OCF really is playing a vital role in the rehabilitation of our injured servicemen and women in the UK and the USA. The more people that get to hear of it the better and the Ross Gazette has played its part. One only had to spend a few minutes in the company of these brave men to appreciate the difference that golf has made to their lives - we, the Members of Ross Golf Club, were privileged to spend several hours with three of them, Ian Bishop, Dave Onions and Dave Ward.

Incidentally, when they departed on Sunday morning, they told me that this had been the best and most fun fund raising event that they had attended in their two years of representing OCF.
