Ian Williams from Aqua Heat based on the Haig Industrial Estate in Ross had a shock when he arrived for work last Wednesday, September 7th. He discovered that a large quantity of copper piping was missing. Ian told the Ross Gazette that he thought about £5,000 worth had been taken.

He said that the thieves had made a hole in the wall from the next door unit which was empty and had only just been painted.

After smashing out a number of bricks to gain access to Aqua Heat the thieves simply pulled the copper pipes through the gap.

He said they managed to avoid the detectors and other shelving to gain access.
