A MOTORIST engaging in a game of ‘hide and seek’ with police officers in Ross-on-Wye, has had his car seized.
After the un-named motorist was stopped by officers, it was discovered that the vehicle was not legally allowed to be on the road.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said that Police Constables Daryl Kift and John Townsend conducted a few enquiries and discovered that it had no legal documentation; no valid MOT, it was not taxed and the vehicle was not covered by insurance.
The vehicle, a Skoda Octavia, has been seized, with the likelihood of it being crushed.
The police spokesperson added: "Vehicle‑related issues are still a big concern for people in Ross, and we’ll keep tackling them proactively to help keep our roads safe for everyone.”
