Ross Baptist Church has unveiled plans to run free clubs to help people in the town get back into work.
The news follows last week's announcement that the Church has agreed to purchase Ross Youth Centre from Herefordshire Council and secure the future use of the building for the community.
Joe Irvine, the Job Club Manager and an Elder with Ross Baptist Church, has been making preparations for the Job Club to begin in May while negotiations with the Council were ongoing.
Joe, who will be leading the workshops, explained to the Gazette how members of the Church wanted to help equip their local community to find employment in tough economic times. In order to do this they underwent specialised training from UK charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and are now enthused to get started.
