A Coffee, Chili and Chocolate Fiesta in Ross in 2010 moved a step forward at the recent meeting of the Ross Traders' Group, with the setting up of a working group to develop the idea.

With a view to attracting visitors to the town, other suggestions of suitable events were put forward. One of these was a food festival, similar to those in Abergavenny and Ludlow. Using the 'Grand Tour' as a theme for celebration was suggested, as tourism began in Ross in the 17th century. A John Kyrle Day was proposed as well as coracle racing on the river.
