Having just read the article in the Gazette regarding the new parking charges at Morrisons.

I parked on Saturday, May 19th to do my weekly shop. I must admit I did not take notice of any signs as there has always been signs regarding the free time.

It was not until I had loaded my shopping into the car that I noticed the signs. I went back and looked for the parking machines and found that there were notices to say that they were not in use. When talking to many people a few days later the impression was the charges were not being put in place until Monday, May 21st. So who is correct and does that mean I will have a fine given to me?

I am very surprised that publicity was not given or leaflets handed out at the tills prior to this happening so that the customers were pre-warned.
